World Bloggers’ Day Partnership Guidelines – Blogging Organization

  • 2011 Theme: The Roles of Bloggers
We are glad that you are interested to partner with World Bloggers’ Day, one of the world’s biggest annual bloggers’ celebrations, both online and offline.

World Bloggers’ Day was initiated by Cebu Bloggers Society, Inc., a SEC registered blogging organization last May 2, 2010 at Parkmall, Cebu.  CBSi is the most organized blogging group in the Philippines composed of diverse individuals united by a common goal — to promote the Queen City of the South through blogging.

World Bloggers’ Day aims to unite the world through blogs and bloggers.

As a World Bloggers’ Day partner, you and your group will be given the following rights & access:

  1. You will have an account on the World Bloggers’ Day website wherein you can publish articles related to your organization or group.
  2. You will be mentioned as your country’s blogging representative on the WBD Partner’s page along with your group or organization’s banner or logo.
  3. You will be mentioned as WBD’s official partner on WBD’s Facebook fan page.
  4. You can organize activities related to World Bloggers’ Day in your place. (i.e. Bloggers’ Festival, Blogging Seminar, Blog Feast, etc..)
  5. You can modify the official WBD logo (i.e. put your country’s flag on the design) so that it will reflect your nationality, etc..
  6. You will have your own Facebook group wherein you can add fellow bloggers from your place.
  7. You can publish your own Press Release article about World Bloggers’ Day.  In the write-up, you can tell the public how bloggers from your place can join and you can also announce if you are intending to organize an offline event.
  8. You and your organization will be mentioned on the official World Bloggers’ Day Press Releases which will be published both locally and internationally.

We need you to do the following.

  1. Before May 2, you need to ask your members to start wearing the World Bloggers’ Day badge or logo.  They can either put it on the sidebar of their blogs or they can have it as a pic badge on their Facebook profile photo.  They can also tweet about it.
  2. Encourage all your members to write an article about this online celebration.  All WBD related articles (links) will be displayed on the World Bloggers’ Day website.
  3. Send your organization’s basic information details and logo along with your complete name & designation  to worldbloggersday@gmail.com.
  4. Make a video presentation (maximum of 5 minutes) about your group and country detailing the year’s theme.  This video will be uploaded to the official World Bloggers’ Day Youtube channel and will be shown to bloggers all over the world during separate offline and online events on May 2.
